Overview

Today with the increasing demand in optimizing content readability, search and discovery for greater outreach, organizations want to make their video content searchable against every hidden aspect such as spoken words, etc. Not only this, content accessibility is greatly compromised if it is not made understandable to its vast base of audience.


VIDIZMO offers auto-transcription capabilities for your video content with translation to more than 15 languages using Rev services for human transcription. To learn more about it, see: Understanding Human Transcription in VIDIZMO.


Before you start

Make sure you log into your VIDIZMO Portal as an Administrator or Manager to be able to configure video insights in VIDIZMO Portal.


Rev Configuration

1. Go to https://www.rev.com/api and click on Get Started.

2. Enter basic user profile details such as name and email to sign up and you will receive their Client API and User API keys via email. Copy or save them for later use in VIDIZMO Portal.


VIDIZMO Portal Configuration

1. From the Portal's Homepage, log in using Administrator or Manager credentials.

i. Click on the menu icon on the top left-hand corner of the screen to bring up the left navigation pane.

ii. Then click on the down arrow to expand the Admin section.

iii Select Settings to open the Portal Settings navigation panel.




2. From the Portal Settings navigation pane:

i. Click on the Apps to expand the list of  application services that you can integrate with.

ii. Select Content Processing where you can set up Rev services for human transcription.

iii. By default, you will see that Rev Transcription has been disabled. You need to configure it to be able to enable it for your portal.




3. On the Rev Transcription - Settings page:

i. Enter or paste the Client API Key you received via email while signing up for Rev.

ii. Enter or paste the User API Key you received via email while signing up for Rev.

iii. Check Sandbox Enabled option to test the application for connection. Rev offers you human transcription facilities so before you are set to transcribe your original content, it is safe to test the integration using Sandbox account.

iv. Select other multiple Languages that you wish your transcriptions to be translated into. 

v. Click Save Changes to update the settings.




4. From the Content Processing screen:

i. You can now see that the toggle button against Rev Transcription has been unblocked. Enable the toggle button to configure video insights in your portal.


 


A notification will appear briefly stating Portal Information Updated Successfully.
