After you first set up your required Storage Provider in Setup Wizard, you can re-configure certain parameters in Control Panel > Storage Providers.

Steps

Administrators and Managers are allowed to view and edit Local VIDIZMO Storage Provider.


1. From the Portal's Homepage:

i. Click on the navigation menu on the top left of your screen.

ii. Expand Admin tab.

iii Click on Control Panel.




2. From the Manage Portal navigation pane in Control Panel:

i. Select Storage Providers tab.

ii. Hover over your respective Storage Provider to see the edit icon appear under Action and click on it.




3. From the alert generated:

i. Click Continue to be routed to the edit page.




4. On the Edit Storage Provider page, you will also be able to view current settings, which you can update. Following are the editable parameters for Local VIDIZMO Storage:

i. Provider Name displays the name of the Provider already configured on your system.

ii. Enter Content Upload URL, which corresponds to the URL that defines where the content will be stored.

iii. Enter the Provider URL which corresponds to the path URL where media will be cached and streamed from. It can vary depending upon your CDN configuration.

iv. Storage Path refers to the local path from which the content will be served.

v. Enter the Container Name where you wish to store the content. 

vi. Copy the FTP Upload URL via which the content can be uploaded to your Storage after processing/encoding. 

vii. Provide the FTP Port that VIDIZMO will use to establish FTP connection with the FTP server. Transcoding service uses this information to FTP back the transcoded content when using On Premise content storage.

viii. Disable FTP Passive

ix. Enter the FTP Account which corresponds to the ID that VIDIZMO will use to establish FTP connection with the FTP server. Transcoding service uses this information to FTP back the transcoded content when using On Premise content storage.

x. Provide the FTP Password that VIDIZMO will use to establish FTP connection with the FTP server. Transcoding service uses this information to FTP back the transcoded content when using On Premise content storage.

xi. Check the Content Types which enlist the types of file that you want to store and work with.

xii. Click Update button to save changes.
